When we don’t understand what God is doing
Grief and hurt and loss are always hard, no matter how much faith you have. It’s important to remember that feeling sad and brokenhearted and even angry are normal human responses — and we should bring all of it to God. We just need to remember that when we don’t understand the reason that God has let something happen, it does change the character of God. He is always good and always loves us, even when we can’t see the bigger picture.
1 Then Job replied to the Lord:
2 “I know that you can do all things;
no purpose of yours can be thwarted.
3 You asked, ‘Who is this that obscures my plans without knowledge?’
Surely I spoke of things I did not understand,
things too wonderful for me to know. (Job 42:1–3)

Experiencing grief and confusion during difficult times can feel isolating, but it's important to realize that these feelings are valid and a natural part of healing.
