If I'm wearing a matte lipstick and want to add some comfort and gloss without compromising the color, a tiny dab of this Guerlain Lip Oil right in the center of my lips works wonders. It doesn't break down the lipstick, but rather enhances it. Speaking of that $40 price tag, I know it can seem steep for a lip oil. However, considering the luxurious feel, the 'Skincare Infused' benefits, and the lasting hydration, I genuinely feel it’s an investment. My lips have never felt softer or looked healthier since I started using it regularly. It has significantly reduced any dryness or flakiness I used to experience. I've tried numerous lip oils, including the popular Clarins Lip Oil and Dior Lip Glow.
