Weekly Apartment Cleaning Routine - Parent Edition
You guys can probably tell by now, I like to keep organized. And as much as I try to keep a mental note of everything going on in the house, it can get a bit overwhelming with a busy toddler running around. So, I recently created this cleaning checklist, and it’s saved me a lot of time and stress!
Of course, we have our everyday cleaning tasks that can’t go undone. You’ll probably be surprised to see laundry on that list, but we’re a family of 3 and one of us isn’t potty-trained 😭
🧺 Mondays are for the kitchen. The most used room in the house, and arguably, the one that gets the messiest. When living in an apartment, this is usually the first room you see, so let’s try to keep it in tiptop shape.
🧺 Tuesdays we tackle the living room. I like to say that this is the place where things go missing. So, let’s get physical and move the furniture around - making sure we check underneath the sofa, coffee table, etc. Don’t forget to wipe those sticky fingerprints off the TV screen, too!
🧺 Okay, Wednesdays aren’t going to be fun, but it has to get done.
🧺 Thursdays are a bit more relaxing because it’s kind of an all-day thing. Toss those linens in the laundry and don’t forget to dust!
🧺 No one likes to clean on the weekend, so let’s set Friday aside for all the little things you might’ve missed.
Now you have the weekend to get it all messy for Monday again 😂
