Day 4 | Kyoto Excursion Even after getting tired... but worth it
Japan Solo Trip Day 4 - 🌸 Matcha🍵 and a Thousand Torii ⛩
The fourth day began to feel that "the body can't do it, but the heart still wants to travel." I walked for many days. Today I was very tired, but I still wanted to go wherever I intended. Finally, it became another day that was "very tired... but really worth it."
Start the day by going to see the blossoms that
📍 Júnangu Shrine, we've been aiming here from Instagram for a while, but today we got tired from walking for days, so we left the shelter quite late, and it's almost late, so a lot of people, especially in the garden.
Although it's late in the season of the plum flower, it's still pretty. It's considered lucky to still see it before it falls out.
After that, we continued to Uji, a famous Japanese green tea town 🍵, walking around and finding something to eat because we were hungry, and finally tried green tea soba, but there was almost no green tea smell, and then we went to
📍 Uji Shrine.
📍 Ujigami Shrine.
These two shrines are close to each other. It's a small shrine with a quiet atmosphere. Not many people like Byodoin Temple. In fact, we didn't stop by the Biodoin Temple at that time because we had to run out of cash, had to walk to press money first, and most importantly, we couldn't walk anymore. 😂
Now starting to feel knee pain from walking days in a row.
Probably the result of the day of the hill walk in Kurama, but even tired, still fighting, and the last place today is
📍 Fushimi Inari Taisha ⛩
Another important Kyoto landmark. There are a lot of people, but it's pretty. Especially when walking up and seeing the red torii lined up. On the way, there are a lot of small shrines along the way. We walk up to the Kyoto scenic spot before coming down to the main shrine, it's about 6 p.m.. After that, we go to find something to eat before returning to the hotel for another day. A lot of walking but really worth it. ✨
