I saw that “leggings legs” was trending & wanted to give some tips❤️‍🩹

Step 1: put on leggings. By the way, you look great. That’s it!

I remember being 14 and seeing the “thigh gap” trending everywhere. I would stay up late and do workouts on the floor of my childhood bedroom to try to get my body to look the same way the Victoria’s Secret models’ bodies looked. I never could.

Soon enough, big hips, a small waist, and “thick” body types were in style and I quickly realized I’d never be able to keep up. As I got older, I stopped paying attention to these trends. But whenever a new trend pops up, I think back to my 14 year old self and wish I could tell her what I know now.

I hope you know that your body is so much more than a trend. Our bodies are incredible, and we only get one chance to take care of them. I hope you can learn to love your body both for what it looks like and what it’s capable of. You deserve that.
