A GOLDEN danhobak latte ✨ also known as kabocha pumpkin, this pumpkin is naturally sweet and nutty, full of nutrients and you can even eat the peel for some extra fiber. This is the pumpkin I grew up snacking on straight from the steamer, and now it’s my favorite latte of the season! To make it,

1) Steam your pumpkin for 30 minutes,

2) remove the seeds and peel, 3) and blend 200g of the pumpkin with a dash of cinnamon and honey with 1 cup of milk.

4) microwave the golden milk for 1 minute, and drink as is or add a shot of espresso!

Enjoy xx

Its natural sweetness and nutty flavor make it an ideal base for warm beverages like this golden latte. The pumpkin is not only delicious but also packed with vitamins A and C, fiber, and antioxidants, which support immune health and digestion. When preparing the golden latte, steaming the pumpkin softens it perfectly, making blending easier and enhancing its natural flavors. Using the peel adds an extra boost of fiber, beneficial for maintaining healthy digestion. Adding cinnamon not only elevates the flavor but also provides anti-inflammatory properties and helps regulate blood sugar levels. Including honey as a natural sweetener balances the spices and amplifies the latte’s comforting taste. For those who love a little caffeine kick, a shot of espresso pairs beautifully with the creamy texture and rich flavors of the pumpkin base. This golden latte is versatile and can be enjoyed year-round, especially during cooler months as a wholesome alternative to traditional coffee drinks. If you visit supermarkets, you might find pre-cut kabocha pumpkin, making the preparation even more convenient.
