Wedding DIY that saves you money

Weddings can get SO expensive! I did everything I could to cut back on cost. Most flowers I bought from hobby lobby when fall section was marked down. With the help of a close friend and her mom, we made these beautiful pieces. All my vases were thrifted or from hobby lobby. My dad made my cake stand. I bought my shoes from Amazon when they were on sale for prime day. I also made my save the date and formal invitation on canva, which saved a lot!! #weddingdiy #diyweddingdecor #diybride #creatorcommunity #fyp

... Read moreWeddings can indeed become financially overwhelming, but with some creativity and resourcefulness, you can make your special day beautiful without breaking the bank. One of the best ways to save is by exploring local craft stores like Hobby Lobby, where you can find discounted flowers and decorations. Making your own bouquets and arrangements not only cuts costs but also adds a personal touch to your wedding. For instance, using thrifted vases or items you already have around the house can elevate your décor style at minimal expense. Consider involving family and friends in your DIY projects. Creating a collaborative atmosphere can make the preparation more enjoyable and memorable. Think about how your dad contributed by crafting a unique cake stand, showcasing the sentimental value of DIY. Also, leveraging platforms like Canva for designing your invitations can significantly reduce printing costs while ensuring your stationery reflects your style. Shopping smart—like grabbing shoes during sales—also plays a crucial role in sticking to your budget. By embracing the DIY spirit, you can craft a wedding that is not only visually stunning but also a reflection of your journey and relationships.
