When I say, "I will choose you over and over again," it’s not just a romantic declaration; it’s a profound commitment that resonates deeply within my heart and shapes our family’s journey. For me, the true meaning of this phrase comes alive in the daily tapestry of our lives, from the biggest milestones to the smallest, most cherished moments with my husband and our little girl. It means choosing my husband, my partner in everything, through all of life's seasons. I remember seeing him in his 'KING' hat and a shirt proudly proclaiming 'HUSBAND & WIFE,' standing beside me in the kitchen, perhaps when I even had a wrist brace on after a long day. It’s in those moments, both challenging and joyful, that the choice to recommit to our bond becomes crystal clear. It’s about recognizing the man who wears his 'HUSBAND DADDY' shirt with pride, whose smile lights up our world, and knowing that he is the one I want by my side, always. This choice isn't just about falling in love once; it's about making that decision actively, every single day, to nurture our connection and grow together. Then there’s the incredible journey of choosing our daughter, over and over again. From her joyful smile, even with playful dark marks (face paint!) on her face, to her blonde hair streaked with red like mine, she brings so much light. Watching her in her purple shirt that says "I GOT DADDY WRAPPED AROUND MY FINGER" as she plays on a colorful bed with her tablet, I’m reminded of the immense privilege of being her parent. It’s about choosing patience when she’s having a tough day, choosing to celebrate her smallest victories, and choosing to be her guiding light as she grows. It's about seeing her playful pigtails and knowing that every decision I make is rooted in providing her with the best possible life. This continuous choice is also evident in the simple, beautiful moments we share as a family. Like the time my husband held our young girl outdoors at sunset, both smiling at the camera, him in his striped tank top and her in a sweet white dress. Or when we’re just out and about, simply enjoying each other’s company, perhaps with some fun 'dark marks' on our faces. These are the moments that reinforce why I would make the same choice a thousand times over. It’s about building a life filled with love, laughter, and unwavering support, making sure that everyone in our family feels cherished and secure. Ultimately, for me, "I will choose you over and over again" is the ultimate expression of unconditional love and dedication. It’s a promise to stand by each other, to overcome obstacles together, and to keep building a future anchored in deep affection and mutual respect. It means that no matter what life throws our way, the foundation of our love and family will always remain my chosen path.
