Happy Sunday Funday! (My favourite day of the year!)
Happy March!
Happy 60th day of 2026!
Yowza, that's a lot to get your head around. ❤️
An early start to our morning here. Mitch is in a swim comp this weekend, so it's up and at em to get him down to the pool early and ready for a big day.
As for this gal- it's gearing up for another big week. My interview and podcast episode will be posted in the next couple of days. And I only have a couple weeks left being here in NZ, so much to do on my sightseeing tour. Who knows what I have up my sleeve next. 💕 (I do have to see a penguin 🐧)
Today, I read (and how fitting for a gal like me) ❝𝘙𝘦𝘢𝘥𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘪𝘴 𝘩𝘰𝘸 𝘲𝘶𝘪𝘦𝘵 𝘴𝘰𝘶𝘭𝘴 𝘵𝘳𝘢𝘷𝘦𝘭 𝘵𝘩 𝘦 𝘸𝘰𝘳𝘭𝘥 𝘸𝘪𝘵𝘩𝘰𝘶𝘵 𝘦𝘷𝘦𝘳 𝘭𝘦𝘢𝘷𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘭𝘪𝘨𝘩𝘵 𝘰𝘧 𝘵𝘩𝘦𝘪𝘳 𝘰𝘸𝘯 𝘭𝘢𝘮𝘱.❞
My life summed:
Travel.
If you can't travel, read.
Both will transport you.

As someone who deeply resonates with the idea that both travel and reading have the power to transport us, I’ve found that embracing these experiences enriches life in unexpected ways. Traveling, like the author’s upcoming New Zealand sightseeing tour and the planned visit to see penguins, opens the door to new cultures, breathtaking landscapes, and memorable interactions. Even when staying put, reading offers a chance to travel the world through stories, ideas, and perspectives, allowing quiet moments of reflection and growth. In my experience, beginning the day early—as mentioned with the morning swim competition routine—is a way to maximize opportunities and embrace each day fully. Whether it’s supporting loved ones or chasing personal goals, starting with intention sets a positive tone. Moreover, engaging in podcasts and interviews, as the author prepares to share, adds another layer of connection—sharing stories enhances learning and community. This balance of active exploration and reflective moments through books or media gives a holistic sense of adventure. Finally, adopting the mindset that if you can’t physically travel, you can still journey through pages, truly reframes how we experience the world. It’s a reminder to seek adventure daily, whether near or far, nurturing a soul always ready to explore and grow.
