Happy Sunday Funday!⁣

Or, at least, kind of. 😥 ⁣

It's my last Sunday in NZ until 2027. Better git at 'er and soak it alllllll up.⁣

(Besides, if you've been following my husband's page, he's down to wiping his ass with paper towel. 😉)⁣

Jokes aside, what a sensational Saturday we had yesterday with Sarah's work colleagues after an incredible morning at the fair. All in all, it was just such a fab day being with the girls, shopping, cocktails, painting, enjoying. I am going to miss everyone so much!⁣

And now today! The ZOO! ⁣

I also had Sarah's friend Kathryn (a true blue Kiwi) make an introductory vid for me in her ah-maz-ing accent when I pull all my videos together for an epic NZ montage at the end of my trip.⁣

Today, I read: ❝𝘊𝘰𝘭𝘭𝘦𝘤𝘵 𝘮𝘰𝘮𝘦𝘯𝘵𝘴, 𝘯𝘰𝘵 𝘵𝘩𝘪𝘯𝘨𝘴. 𝘍𝘪𝘭𝘭 𝘺𝘰𝘶𝘳 𝘩𝘰𝘭𝘪𝘥𝘢𝘺𝘴 𝘸𝘪𝘵𝘩 𝘭𝘢𝘴𝘵𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘦𝘹𝘱𝘦𝘳𝘪𝘦𝘯𝘤𝘦𝘴 𝘵𝘩𝘢𝘵 𝘸𝘪𝘭𝘭 𝘭𝘦𝘢𝘷𝘦 𝘢 𝘭𝘢𝘴𝘵𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘪𝘮𝘱𝘢𝘤𝘵 𝘰𝘯 𝘺𝘰𝘶𝘳 𝘴𝘰𝘶𝘭.❞ ⁣

Yes.⁣

I collect experiences.⁣

The kind that you can carry around with you.⁣

Not in suitcases.⁣

Not in boxes.⁣

But in ways that makes life worth living every fucking second.⁣

Off to meet a penguin! 🐧⁣

... Read moreTraveling to New Zealand is an incredible experience that offers more than just beautiful scenery—it’s about immersing yourself in moments that stay with you forever. During my time there, I found myself truly appreciating the value of collecting experiences. It’s easy to focus on souvenirs or material keepsakes, but what really enriches your journey are the interactions, laughter, and new perspectives you gain. One of the highlights for me was spending time at the local zoo where I had the chance to meet some of New Zealand’s unique wildlife, including the charming penguins. These encounters offer an intimate connection to nature and the country’s rich biodiversity, something no photograph or item can replicate. Another treasured aspect was enjoying the companionship of friends, exploring fairs, indulging in shopping, cocktails, and even painting sessions. These shared moments create bonds and memories that travel with you far beyond the physical trip. I also appreciated the vibrant Kiwi culture, highlighted by my friend Kathryn’s authentic accent and stories, which deepened my appreciation of New Zealand’s unique identity. This journey reminded me of the importance of valuing experiences over possessions—a philosophy I encourage every traveler to embrace. By filling your holidays with meaningful adventures and human connections, you not only make your trip special but also carry a piece of it within your soul forever. Whether it's the laughter shared with friends or a moment face-to-face with an enchanting penguin, these are the treasures that truly make life worth living.
