Zoom zoom! Time to move! 🏃♀️
Man, did I 𝐞𝐯𝐞𝐫 grind yesterday. More than 11 hours on the clock for Book Notification, booked a wedding, planning sesh with one of my couples, sent a quote for 2027, washed the bedding from the weekend, made Thai-inspired Peanut Chicken Bowls, and passed out around 1.
J let this girl sleep in, and now I'm up and at 'er. Mattress swap, laundry put away, and I'm just about ready to bake off today's Don't Care 🖤 Cake before I prep for another week of Broccoli 🥦 Cheddar soup (J's pick) and go for a run. Heyo!
Later tonight, another meeting with my couples and we'll do it all again tomorrah!
If you're gonna have one day at your desk, you must have another moving your body. You must. 💕
Rumi once wrote: ❝ 𝘚𝘦𝘵 𝘺𝘰𝘶𝘳 𝘭𝘪𝘧𝘦 𝘰𝘯 𝘧𝘪𝘳𝘦. 𝘚𝘦𝘦𝘬 𝘵𝘩𝘰𝘴𝘦 𝘸𝘩𝘰 𝘧𝘢𝘯 𝘺𝘰𝘶𝘳 𝘧𝘭𝘢𝘮𝘦𝘴.❞
Set it ALL on fire! 🔥
Make your life blaze with light and laughter, smiles and joy. Let it burn so bright that the dark parts can glow only in the shadows until they've melted to ash. Give grace to the embers for the next spark of happiness, and remember - the phoenix rose. And you will, too.
That's my Tuesday wish for you.

Having experienced countless hectic days balancing work, family, and personal goals, I completely relate to the grind Care describes. It's so important to honor the hustle but also prioritize intentional self-care and movement. For me, starting the day with a run or some gentle stretching really sets the tone—it clears my mind and energizes my body for what's ahead. Care’s mention of a ‘mattress swap’ after sleep-in mornings reminded me how little tasks like refreshing your sleep environment can surprisingly boost your mood. It’s a small but powerful way to practice kindness toward yourself amid a demanding schedule. Also, incorporating nourishing meals like Thai-inspired Peanut Chicken Bowls or broccoli cheddar soup isn’t just about food; it’s about fueling your flame to keep going. When I’m planning meals, I focus on comfort and nutrition to sustain both body and spirit through busy days. The motivational quote by Rumi—"Set your life on fire. Seek those who fan your flames."—has always inspired me to surround myself with positive influences and nurture my passions relentlessly. Life’s challenges feel more manageable when you intentionally pursue joy and connection. Finally, Care’s advice about balancing desk work with physical movement is spot on. Sitting all day drains energy and creativity, but even a short walk or active stretch breaks elevate focus and mood. Moving your body is crucial for holistic wellbeing, especially when juggling many responsibilities. This blend of hustle, self-care rituals, nourishing food, and motivation creates the spark we all need to rise like the phoenix—even after the toughest days. It’s a reminder that we have the power to keep our flames burning bright through balance, grace, and persistence.
