Here’s my top three favorite supplements for stress and relaxation! Having anxiety and panic disorder, sometimes my prescriptions just aren’t enough and these really help me when I’m anxious and stressed! They all have their own special ways of making you calm and have mood boosting effects! Here’s some facts about these supplements, and remember, always consult with your doctor before incorporating new supplements into your routine!! 🧘🏼‍♀️

5-Hydroxytryptophan (5-HTP) is an amino acid that serves as a precursor to serotonin, a neurotransmitter often referred to as the "feel-good" chemical because of its role in mood regulation. When it comes to stress, 5-HTP may offer several benefits by influencing serotonin levels in the brain. Due to this, 5-HTP is known for enhancing mood, promotes relaxation, improves sleep quality, aids in emotional regulation, and may reduce anxiety!

Ashwagandha reduces cortisol levels aka the stress hormone in the body. Ashwagandha can effectively reduce symptoms in people with stress and anxiety disorders. Its ability to decrease cortisol plays a crucial role in this! It also promotes better sleep and helps enhance cognitive function like memory and focus.

GABA, L-Theanine, and Lemon Balm are each effective in their own right for managing stress and promoting relaxation. When used together, they may provide a comprehensive approach to stress management. Combining GABA, L-Theanine, and Lemon Balm can offer a synergistic effect for stress management.
