The Grief Nobody Saw
Some children learn how to take care of everyone else long before they learn how to take care of themselves.
They become the responsible one.
The helper.
The caretaker.
They notice who is upset.
Who needs comfort.
Who needs help.
And somewhere along the way, their own needs become easier to ignore.
Maybe that's the grief.
Not what you carried.
But that nobody noticed you were carrying it too.
Healing isn't becoming less caring.
It's realizing you deserved care too. 🌻

If you want to know where to begin, it's in my bio.
