... Read moreHey bookworms! Since finishing Kingdom of Ash, I've had so many of you asking about specific details, and I wanted to share a bit more to help you dive into this incredible world. If you're wondering about the nitty-gritty before picking it up, here's what you need to know from my personal experience! First off, 'When did Kingdom of Ash come out?' This epic finale by the brilliant Sarah J. Maas was officially released on October 23, 2018. It’s been a few years, but the incredible impact and fan love for this book are still as strong as ever, and for good reason! Knowing the release date often helps readers understand the grand timeline of the Throne of Glass series' journey. Next, 'How many pages is Kingdom of Ash?' Get ready for a marathon, because depending on the edition you pick up, Kingdom of Ash typically clocks in at around 980 to 992 pages! Yes, we're talking about almost a thousand pages of pure fantasy brilliance. Don't let the sheer length intimidate you, though. Every single page is worth it, packed with intense action, raw emotion, and deeply satisfying character development. It’s definitely a commitment, so I highly recommend setting aside some dedicated reading time to truly savor it. Personally, I found reading it on my Kindle incredibly convenient, making it easier to carry around such a hefty book, especially with a cute floral case like mine that added to the reading vibe! Now, about that 'Kingdom of Ash ending' – without giving away any spoilers, trust me when I say it delivers on every single promise. As I mentioned in my review, it beautifully ties up every loose end, and I can't stress enough how satisfying that is after such a long journey. All the character arcs you've followed for so long finally culminate, and the sacrifices, triumphs, and emotional payoffs are immense. It's an ending that feels earned, deeply satisfying, and truly epic in scale. You'll likely feel a whirlwind of emotions, from heartbreak to soaring hope, and maybe even find yourself teary-eyed. The iconic phrase 'You do not yield' truly resonates throughout the final chapters, embodying the unwavering spirit of these characters and their world. To enhance my reading experience with such a grand finale, I often create moodboards or even a dedicated music playlist. It helps set the tone and immerse me deeper into the story, much like the fantastical images of dragons, wolves, and castles you see on fan art. Having a personal soundtrack for those pivotal moments, or visual inspiration that reminds you of ‘A Better World’ can make the thousand-page journey even more memorable. This book isn't just a story; it's an unforgettable experience, and the ending is a testament to Sarah J. Maas's genius storytelling prowess. If you've been on the fence, don't hesitate to pick it up!
