4.8⭐️JAP RESTO IN THE EAST 🙌🏼
Hey everyone! 🤪
I’m back with another Japanese food recco, and this was such a lucky find. I actually stumbled upon Tora Tora Tora Japanese Restaurant Singapore on Google Maps… and my mum later told me she went to this exact place for her friend’s birthday too 🤣
NOT SPONS AT ALL (but I’d love it to be). We came here to celebrate my bestie’s birthday, and the experience was honestly great. They even surprised us with a complimentary lava cake 🎂
It’s tucked away in an industrial building so it’s a bit ulu, but trust me — so worth it. Ambience was cozy and, though it does get quite crowded, so definitely make a reservation 💥
Honourable mentions to the first 3 pictured - SO GOOD 🙌🏼 The prices are a bit on the steeper side ($20++) but you’re really paying for quality ingredients 👀
Overall, such a solid spot for special occasions or when you’re craving good Japanese food. The menu is also SUPER extensive, and there’s still so much I want to try… so def will be back hehe 🫶

If you’re considering a visit to Tora Tora Tora Japanese Restaurant Singapore, here are some personal tips based on my experience. Since the restaurant is tucked away in an industrial building, it may feel a bit hidden, but it’s definitely worth the effort to find. Making a reservation is highly recommended, especially during weekends, as the place gets quite packed due to its growing popularity. One standout dish I would highlight is the Salmon Ikura Carpaccio, praised for its super fresh and thick chunks of salmon – it might even feel like a Salmon Yukke with that generous freshness. The Hotate & Sakura Ebi Cold Ramen was unique, more like a capellini with refreshing seafood and a tasty hae bee hiam twist, perfect if you want something a little different from the usual ramen. And if you love rich flavors, the Wagyu Fried Rice is a must-try – those melt-in-your-mouth wagyu cubes truly made the dish memorable. The pricing is on the steeper side, around $20 per dish, but given the quality of ingredients and the well-crafted flavors, it feels justified, especially for special occasions. I also appreciated the extensive menu that offers plenty more to explore, so I’m definitely planning to revisit to try other dishes like the Salmon Avocado Maki and Ikura Mentaiko Maki, which are also popular choices. Ambience-wise, the cozy and somewhat intimate setting enhances the dining experience, making it ideal for celebrations or more relaxed outings with friends and family. Oh, and don’t forget to leave room for dessert—the complimentary lava cake we received as a birthday surprise was a delightful finish to our meal. Overall, Tora Tora Tora provides a fantastic balance of authentic Japanese flavors, fresh ingredients, and warm hospitality. It’s become one of my go-to spots for Japanese cuisine in Singapore, and I’m excited to see what new dishes they offer in the future.
