Japanese restaurant in the east-central

Kushi Japanese Dining

Must try affordable and yummy Japanese restaurant !!🍙

First time at this place and I left feeling so satisfied!

Sashimi was super fresh and delicious🍣, but my favourite dish of the night was definitely the truffle scallop carpaccio 😮‍💨 it was fr sooooo good. #musttry

Taste aside, their prices are also really competitive like $33.80 (15 slices) for the sashimi boat !??? What???? 🥹🥹🥹

Everything was perfect and the portions were pretty generous. 😸

I personally wasn’t a fan of the salad, but that’s probably just my picky self when it comes to saladsss.😧

Overall, I think this place is really worth visiting with friends or family, pretty vibey and definitely good for big groups 👯‍♀️👯‍♂️

I found their variety impressive, ranging from sashimi boats to izakaya-style dishes like grilled squid and fried salmon fin. The atmosphere is perfect for group dining, creating a lively yet comfortable vibe. One thing to note is their generous portion sizes, which means you get great value for money. The truffle hotate (scallop) carpaccio stood out to me as a must-try dish, with its rich flavor that was beautifully balanced. While the salad wasn't my favorite, most will enjoy the variety of fresh and tasty options available. Also, don't miss out on their garlic fried rice and chicken wings if you're in the mood for something more filling. I appreciated how the menu suits both casual dinners and special occasions, making it a versatile spot in the East-Central area. For those who search for "affordable Japanese food" or "budget Japanese restaurant" in Singapore, Kushi is a solid find. Its location in Paya Lebar Square adds convenience, and the good prices paired with quality food make it a popular choice among locals and visitors alike.
