Im back with another food reco! If you know me, i ABSOLUTELY LOVEE mexican food! its really one of my favourite cuisine!🤍🤌🏼
I got invited to try Super Loco Robertson Quay and here’s my honest review on it! You can TRUST me on this as i’ve been to more than 5 mexican restaurants in sg HAHAHH
Firstly i really got to commend the vibes! super chill and airy with the open air concept. can see alot doggies walking pass the restaurant which made me so happy 🥹 there’s cute decorations all around as well and the vibe is just screaming happy!
On to the food, they serve all kinds of mexican food (tacos, quesadillas, corns etc) i was really spoiled for choice! My favourite would be brekkie birria tacos as well as the wings! Aside from normal mexican food, they serve brunch food as well! LOVEEEEE. Theres fluffy pancakes, waffles, churros, which i really wanted to get but BOY was i full LOL. thankgod i still manage to squeeze in an acai bowl to try which turned out to be amazing! the acai itself was SOOO good. was not a big fan of the beads egg thingy inside but wow the acai was good, wish they added more🥲🥲
the only thing that i would say can skip is the corn! I always ordered mexican corn whenever i go to Mexican places but this was a miss for me.
ALSOOO, our drinks were so refreshing’!
Overall, you really can not go wrong with mexican food! if you’re around the area, do give this place a try! plus it’s pretty reasonable as well (below $20 for each dish)
... Read moreHaving visited both Super Loco branches at Robertson Quay and Customs House, I can share a bit more about what makes this place stand out beyond just the food. One thing I especially appreciate is how the menu successfully blends traditional Mexican dishes with brunch favorites. This fusion allows for a unique dining experience whether you're in the mood for tacos or want to indulge in fluffy pancakes and acai bowls.
The ambiance is another highlight—especially at Robertson Quay with its open-air, airy décor surrounded by charming touches that make it perfect for casual hangouts. My personal favorite is the brekkie birria tacos; the balance of spices and tender meat hits the spot every time. The spicy Mexican wings are another crowd-pleaser with their bold flavors, ranking high on my list.
While most dishes impressed, the Mexican corn was a rare miss for me—it's an item I usually enjoy but didn’t quite love here. Nonetheless, their refreshing drinks, including their white peach ginger soda and watermelon basil cooler, complement the meal beautifully and keep the palate excited.
If you're visiting, be sure to try their acai bowl—it’s packed with flavor and a refreshing end to any meal. The combination of Mexican food with brunch options is something not many places offer, making Super Loco a versatile choice for any time of day. Pricing is reasonable, with dishes usually under $20, making it accessible for a casual day out or a lively date spot.
I highly recommend checking out both locations to experience their slightly different vibes and full menus. Whether you're a Mexican food enthusiast or just looking for a cool brunch place in Singapore, Super Loco serves up tasty dishes and a fun atmosphere that's hard to beat.
The food looks so gooodddd 😩
