I hope y’all are enjoying the scholarship tips series! I have really enjoyed making it. I am hoping to continue it by posting practice questions and recommending scholarships for yall to apply to!
Lots of scholarships require letters of recommendation. You may need letters from employers, club leaders, coaches, teachers, or administrators.
Letters of recommendation should establish credibility and show that other people have confidence in your abilities in and out of the classroom. They should demonstrate that you are a leader, passionate, hard working, and professional.
College students: at the end of each semester, send emails to your teachers thanking them for teaching the class and ask if they would be willing to write a letter of recommendation for you to use later! You never know when it will come in handy! I have established relationships with all of my teachers and they have been willing to write recommendation letters for me! I keep them all saved in a folder on my computer to use when applying for a scholarship or internship!!
