Meals I’ve made my fiancé this week🫶🏼🍽️

Fried rice- I used white rice that had been cooked 4 days before. I added some oil to the pan and a tbsp of water, I added my rice and covered on medium low for 8 mins. I added frozen mixed veggies to the rice, covered again on medium heat for 5 mins. I added a bit more oil, 2 eggs, stirred it on medium high heat for 2 mins & I added oyster sauce & soy sauce, gave it a stir and covered on medium for 2 mins. At the very end I added sesame oil for the signature “fried rice” taste.

For the steak bites I pat dried it, cut up steak into cubes, I seasoned with avocado oil, paprika, white pepper, salt, garlic powder, onion powder, a bit of cornstarch, & Worcestershire sauce. Mince some garlic & add to the marinated steak and mix. I let it marinate for 1 hour in fridge. I cooked them on medium high heat for about 6 mins until they had a nice sear on both sides. (Make sure pan is oiled and on high heat right before you add your steak, once steak is in pan you will cook it on medium high.)

I baked the broccoli with a drizzle of oil and black pepper. Bake on 375 for 15 mins. (preheat oven before putting in broccoli.)

I got chicken eggrolls (Chung’s) brand & I air fried them on 400 for 15 mins.

(Flip eggrolls halfway through & make sure you preheat air fryer before adding any food.)

... Read moreThis week, I prepared a variety of delightful meals for my fiancé that are both simple and scrumptious. One standout dish was fried rice, creatively made from older cooked rice and combined with frozen mixed veggies for vibrancy and flavor. To bring it all together, I added a signature mix of oyster and soy sauce, topped with sesame oil for that perfect finish. For protein, the steak bites were a hit; I marinated them with a blend of spices and sauces, ensuring they were flavorful and tender. Pan-searing provided a beautiful crust while keeping the inside juicy. Pairing these with roasted broccoli added a healthy touch, baked until perfectly tender. I also introduced quick chicken egg rolls in the air fryer, giving them that crispy finish while keeping the inside warm and satisfying. These meals not only catered to our taste buds but also infused our week with warmth and love. Each dish was a part of our shared culinary adventure, showing that cooking can be both fun and romantic!
