Day 14✨ 7.6.26
I have soooo much more to do in this space, but I am finally feeling like I am seeing progress🤭
With three kids and my youngest being four months old, there are soooo many areas in my house that have desperately needed attention for a while SO I decided to challenge myself hence starting this challenge 14 days ago!!! Keep it simple-one little task at a time!

Taking on a home decluttering challenge when you have young children can feel daunting, but breaking it down into manageable daily tasks really makes a difference. Each day, I focused on one small area—starting with the dust buildup on custom shelves, and worked on removing clutter and trash bit by bit. It’s amazing how even small wins like getting rid of one bag of trash can boost your motivation to keep going. Balancing mom life, especially postpartum with a newborn, adds challenges but also drives the need for a more organized space to reduce stress. I found that setting achievable goals each day helped me stay consistent without feeling overwhelmed. Progress isn’t always big and flashy; sometimes it’s just seeing less dust, a cleaner countertop, or an empty bin that feels satisfying. If you’re thinking about starting a similar challenge, here are a few tips I learned: 1) Keep tasks simple—spend 10-15 minutes on one spot; 2) Celebrate small wins; 3) Use a timer to prevent burnout; and 4) Involve your family where possible to share the load. This incremental approach to decluttering has helped me create a cleaner, calmer environment for my family and myself, and I’m excited to continue the journey beyond these 14 days.
