I am NOT AI!
I know we live in scary times where it can be hard to tell fact from fiction, but it really only takes 1 to 2 minutes to look at my page to see I am a real person and this is my real voice.
Sometimes I worry that if we keep calling things AI when they’re obviously not, we are going to fatigue people who would otherwise care if they’re consuming AI media, to not caring at all, since apparently everything is AI, so what’s the point.
In today's digital age, it can be challenging to distinguish genuine human-created content from AI-generated media. As a professional cheesemonger, Madelyn faces this confusion firsthand, with many accusing her engaging videos of being artificial intelligence creations. From my personal experience following creators in niche fields like cheesemaking, I understand how dedication and personal passion are easily mistaken for AI fabrication, especially when videos are polished and informative. Madelyn’s work stands out because it reflects real-life expertise and heartfelt enthusiasm—not just scripted outputs. She invests about 30 hours a week producing and managing her content alongside her full-time responsibilities. This commitment translates into genuine insights and a relatable style that AI cannot replicate, including candid voiceovers recorded even during quick breaks, like in a car. What’s more, Madelyn encourages viewers to do a little research before hastily labeling content as AI-produced. A quick look at her social profiles or Google searches reveals interviews, articles, and a career rooted in real cheesemaking experience—not artificial mimicry. This approach fosters an appreciation for authentic voices amid the surge of AI-generated media. For anyone who loves cheese culture or follows creators like Madelyn, this highlights the importance of discerning true craftsmanship. It reminds us that behind every educational video, there can be a passionate professional offering real value, sharing knowledge about cheesemaking processes, such as washed rind cheeses and their unique characteristics. Ultimately, Madelyn’s story is a reminder to value and support human creativity and expertise in our online communities, balancing healthy skepticism with openness to authentic, carefully crafted content.
