Spring in May!! PA and NJ getaway
Spring is truly a special time to explore Pennsylvania and New Jersey, especially when nature is blossoming and outdoor activities become inviting. During my spring visit, I found Jenkins Arboretum & Gardens to be an absolute sanctuary. The vibrant array of blooms and astonishing plant diversity provided a peaceful escape and countless photo opportunities. Walking through these lush grounds was rejuvenating and gave a real sense of the season’s renewal. After immersing myself in the serene garden, I headed to Milky Way Farm, a charming spot where you can engage with farm animals, enjoy fresh produce, and partake in family-friendly activities. It’s a wonderful place to slow down and appreciate rural life, which is often overlooked yet invigorating. This farm offers a chance to connect with nature quite differently from the arboretum’s delicate flora. No visit to this region would be complete without a stop at Princeton University. Walking through the historic campus, I was captivated by the impressive architecture and the beautiful green spaces that exemplify collegiate elegance. The town of Princeton itself has delightful cafes and shops, perfect for unwinding after a day of exploration. Combining these destinations made for a fulfilling spring getaway, blending natural beauty, cultural richness, and a taste of farm life. For anyone considering a spring trip in May, this PA and NJ itinerary offers varied experiences that celebrate the season’s charm and create lasting memories.
