Easy Homemade Pizza Sauce

Ingredients:

6 ounces tomato paste

15 ounces tomato sauce

1-2 tablespoons dried oregano (to taste)

2 tablespoons Italian seasoning

1/2 teaspoon garlic powder

1/2 teaspoon onion powder

1/2 tablespoon garlic salt

1/4 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper

1 teaspoon sugar

Instructions:

Combine Ingredients:

In a medium-sized saucepan, combine the tomato paste, tomato sauce, oregano, Italian seasoning, garlic powder, onion powder, garlic salt, black pepper, and sugar.

Simmer:

Place the saucepan over medium-low heat.

Bring the mixture to a gentle simmer, stirring occasionally.

Let it simmer for 15-20 minutes, or until the sauce thickens slightly and the flavors meld together.

Taste and Adjust:

Taste the sauce and adjust the seasonings to your preference. You can add more oregano, salt, or pepper if needed.

Cool and Use:

Remove the sauce from heat and let it cool slightly before using it on your pizza.
