I try to remember to remind myself when I'm feeling really hopeless or despairing or really anxious that we don't know how it's going to turn out yet, whatever it is that I am worried about or having a hard time about; we don't know and it could turn out to be so much better than we can even imagine or hope for, or it can just turn out to be good.

And the worrying and the despair and hopelessness doesn't help anything, and it is something that our abusers or bullies wanted us to be in because it is a state of inaction, and it is state of giving up or despair - but we don't know what it's going to turn out to be like.

And if I think about past times, often things worked out okay or better than I thought. And even if things are hard it doesn't mean that we can't get through and that we won't be okay on the other side. It feels like we can't when things are really hard, but we can still get through.

It helps so much to have support and to talk about it with other people. It also helps to be able to hang on to some hope. I hope that you can hang on to some hope or do a what if: What if it turns out to be so much better than I thought it would be? #mentalhealth #anxietydepression #traumahealing
