I also find that batch cooking and freezing meals can save time and money, reducing the need for last-minute takeout. Additionally, involving kids in meal prep not only keeps them engaged but also encourages them to eat what they helped make. While the grocery bill may double, being strategic about shopping lists, using coupons, and buying in bulk when possible can ease the financial impact. Managing a large family's summer nutrition is definitely a balancing act, but with some creativity and organization, it’s possible to keep everyone well-fed and happy without breaking the bank.
