Apple Spice Brew

1. Slice or chop your apple (no need to peel)

2. Put it in a pot with water and boil for 8–10 minutes

→ This lets the apple flavour come out

3. Add:

• cinnamon stick (or a pinch of powder)

• 2–3 cloves only (don’t overdo cloves)

4. Simmer for 3–5 minutes

5. Turn off heat, then add 1 Lipton tea bag

6. Steep for 2–3 minutes, then remove the tea bag

Optional:

• Add honey if you want it sweeter

• A slice of ginger if you like a little kick

Important tips

• Don’t boil the tea bag with the spices. It will go bitter.

• Go easy on cloves. They are strong.

• Apple sweetness depends on the apple, so taste before adding honey.
