Hey everyone! So glad you're joining me on this GRWM journey for performing at the USC bowl game in Las Vegas. Getting ready for a big dance performance, especially one as epic as a college bowl game, is totally different from your everyday makeup routine. It’s not just about looking good; it’s about making sure your makeup stays put through all the cheering, dancing, and flashing lights! When I mentioned going "full glam," I really meant it. For dancers, visibility on the field or stage is key. We need our features to pop, even from the nosebleed seats! That's why I always start with a really good primer – something that blurs and keeps oil at bay. Then, for foundation, a full-coverage, long-wear formula is essential. My MAC Studio Fix Fluid (or powder, as mentioned!) is a go-to because it gives that flawless finish without feeling too heavy. And trust me, when you're moving a lot, you don't want anything sliding around! The real MVP, though, is the setting spray. I swear by the double-spray method! First, a hydrating setting spray to melt all the powders together and give a natural finish, and then my One Size setting spray for that bulletproof hold. This stuff locks everything down, making it sweat-proof and transfer-resistant – perfect for those high-energy dance routines at the Las Vegas Bowl. Nobody wants their eyeliner smudged halfway through the first quarter! Beyond just foundation and setting spray, I focus on waterproof everything. Waterproof mascara is a non-negotiable (no raccoon eyes!), and a long-wearing liquid lipstick means fewer touch-ups. For performance, a little extra blush and contour go a long way to define your face under stadium lights. And don't forget the glitter – it's a bowl game, after all! But getting ready isn’t just about the makeup. It’s a whole ritual! I always make sure to hydrate well the day before and the morning of. Light stretching helps get my body ready, and packing a small emergency kit with blotting papers, a lip gloss, and a tiny mirror is a must-have for quick touch-ups. The atmosphere at the Las Vegas Bowl with all the USC fans was just electric, and knowing my makeup was locked in let me fully enjoy every single moment of dancing and celebrating. It was such an unforgettable experience ending the football season with my dance team! It truly felt like a dream come true to perform on such a big stage.
