Easy Leg Shave

Hey guys! This is the routine I have for shaving my legs

Step 1. Baby oil your legs up then rinse

Step 2. Exfoliate

Step 3. Mix some bar soap with some conditioner and lather them suckers (doesn't have to be the ones in the picture, thats just what works for me)

Step 4. Dry and use healing lotion for any dry spots

Step 5. (def optional) the lotion in the picture above smells sooooooo good, so i definitely recommend using it

... Read moreFrom my personal experience, using baby oil before shaving really helps in softening the hair and prepping the skin, which makes the razor glide smoothly and reduces irritation. After oiling, exfoliating with something gentle but effective, like a body wash containing brown sugar and cocoa butter, removes dead skin cells and helps prevent ingrown hairs. I love mixing bar soap with conditioner to create a rich lather because it provides a creamy, moisturizing layer that helps protect the skin while shaving. You don’t have to be specific about the brands; any gentle soap and a good conditioner will work just fine. A Dove beauty bar or similar moisturizing soap can also be excellent alternatives. Once I finish shaving, I make sure to pat my legs dry gently — not rubbing — to avoid unnecessary dryness or irritation. Then, applying a dermatologist-recommended healing lotion, such as one with shea butter or almond oil, really soothes and hydrates the skin, especially on spots prone to dryness or razor bumps. Optional but highly recommended is using a fragrant lotion, like one with lavender or the scent of Old Spice Gentleman’s exfoliating body wash, which adds that fresh and clean feeling after your routine. Consistency with these steps not only keeps your legs silky smooth but helps maintain healthy skin and avoid common shaving issues. Following this routine, including exfoliating, using moisturizing products, and gentle shaving techniques, has been key for me to achieve soft, glowing legs without irritation or dryness, especially during changing weather or after long days outdoors.
