The most dangerous treat to keep in your freezer. (Recipe in caption!)
These are stupid easy to make yet my Husband said they’re the best dessert I ever made. Dark chocolate, a protein whip filling made with Cool Whip or Coco whip and a scoop of protein powder (or powdered peanut butter for a peanut butter s’more vibe!)
These barely last more than a day in our freezer.
Ingredients
* 20 graham crackers
* 1 cup melted dark chocolate
* 1 container Cool Whip or coconut whip
* 1 scoop protein powder or powdered peanut butter (about 1/4 cup)
Instructions
1. Mix the protein powder and Cool Whip together until smooth.
2. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper and place 10 graham crackers down.
3. Pour melted chocolate over the graham crackers and spread evenly.
4. Spread the protein whip mixture on top of the chocolate layer.
5. Add the remaining graham crackers on top to form sandwiches.
6. Freeze for at least 2 hours, then slice into bars and enjoy!

If you're looking for a summer dessert that's both indulgent and packed with protein, these frozen protein s'mores bars are an absolute game-changer. From my experience making these, the combination of dark chocolate and the creamy protein whip creates a wonderfully balanced flavor and texture. Using Cool Whip or coconut whip as the base for your protein filling not only adds smoothness but also keeps the bars light and fluffy. One tip I've found helpful is to firmly press the graham cracker sandwiches before freezing to ensure they stick together well and slice nicely after they set. I also love experimenting by swapping the protein powder with powdered peanut butter, which brings a rich peanut butter twist without adding too much fat or sugar. This variation is especially appealing if you enjoy classic s'mores flavors. These bars are super convenient to prepare ahead of time and keep in the freezer, making them perfect for quick snacks or after-workout recovery treats. They freeze well for several days but tend to disappear quickly in my house because they’re just that delicious! Plus, they’re a healthier alternative to many traditional frozen desserts since they combine protein with moderate amounts of dark chocolate and natural ingredients. For those mindful of sugar intake, opting for unsweetened or lightly sweetened protein powders helps control sweetness. You can also experiment with different chocolate brands or types, such as a higher cocoa percentage for more antioxidant benefits. Overall, these frozen protein s'mores bars hit the spot when you crave something sweet, cold, and nourishing. Whether you’re hosting a summer party or need a guilt-free treat, this recipe is a must-try that’s both easy and satisfying.
