The male Woolly Mammoth header was found in the Arctic, Siberia, Russia, in 2002, named Yukagir Mammoth after the village of the place where it was found. It was found in a very good layer of permafrost, with skin, hair, which was considered difficult to find. Other parts were later found: tusks, legs, feet, and other organs.
Furry mammoths once lived in many parts of the world, especially in cold regions, in Europe, Asia and North America, from 300,000 years ago until about 10,000 years ago they went extinct.
