... Read moreLiving by the message of Matthew 5:16, "Let your light shine before others," has been a personal journey that deeply resonates with me. When I encounter people in my life who weren't raised in Christianity, I have found that rather than avoiding or preaching at them, the most impactful approach is to live out my faith authentically and lovingly. For example, choosing kindness, patience, and integrity in daily interactions often piques genuine curiosity about faith. People appreciate authenticity and can feel when someone's values are rooted in love and grace, not judgment. It’s important to create an environment where questions and conversations about faith are welcomed rather than forced. As a mother, modeling such openness in faith and family life is powerful. Sharing stories and experiences from a place of personal growth rather than obligation invites others—especially friends and neighbors—to see the value in raising their own children with similar faith principles. It’s about making Christianity appealing through actions that reflect Christian values: compassion, forgiveness, and hope. Overall, the goal isn’t to coerce but to inspire and gently encourage through lived example. This approach aligns with the biblical call to be a light in the world, demonstrating Christian love in ways that naturally draw others closer to faith.
