... Read moreIt's incredible how words can hold so much of what we carry inside. When I was writing 'things i never got to tell you,' my intention was to create a space where raw emotions, especially those tied to heartache, could be openly expressed. It truly felt vulnerable, open, and incredibly personal and honest to put these feelings on paper. Sometimes, when you're going through a tough time, finding poems that articulate exactly what you're feeling can be such a lifeline. It makes you feel seen, understood, and less alone in your struggles. For anyone who's ever felt a deep ache, or navigated complex emotional landscapes, poetry can be a powerful companion. It's not just about the words on the page; it's about the connection they forge. My journey writing this trilogy, focusing on heartache, hope, and healing, was a way for me to process my own experiences, and I genuinely hope it offers a similar sense of comfort and reflection to readers. Volume one dives deep into the initial impact of heartache, the raw, unfiltered emotions that come with profound loss or difficult experiences. It's about acknowledging that pain and giving it a voice. Volume two then explores the challenging middle ground, the process of navigating those feelings, and the slow, often messy, path towards understanding and acceptance. Finally, volume three, which is coming out very soon, focuses on the glimmer of hope that emerges, the strength found in resilience, and the ultimate journey towards healing and moving forward. I remember countless nights poring over lines, trying to capture the nuances of grief, the flicker of hope, and the slow, often messy, path towards healing. It’s a testament to how art can transform pain into something beautiful and relatable. If you’re searching for poetry that dives deep into the human experience, that doesn't shy away from the difficult parts but also gently guides you towards light, then this collection is for you. This isn't just a book; it's a conversation. It's about acknowledging the pain, sitting with it, and then finding the courage to look for the next step, the next breath, the next moment of peace. The feedback I've received, especially about how 'vulnerable' and 'honest' the poems feel, truly warms my heart because that's exactly what I aimed for. To share those untold stories, those 'things I never got to tell you,' and turn them into something that speaks to universal experiences of resilience. Reading poetry, or even trying to write your own, can be a therapeutic process. It allows you to explore emotions safely. Whether it’s heartache, confusion, or the quiet strength of finding hope again, putting these feelings into words, or finding them echoed in someone else's, can be profoundly healing. Embrace the vulnerability, embrace the journey, and let poetry be a guide through whatever emotional landscape you're navigating.
