Part 3 ~ My Chronically ill Life Journey ~

2025/1/17 Edited to

... Read moreChronic illness affects millions of people worldwide, yet each journey is unique. In this part of my story, I delve into my first appointment with Dr. Gerhart, my GI surgeon, where I shared my experiences and the difficulties I face daily with gastroparesis. At first, I felt anxious about whether this doctor would understand or care about my struggles. During the appointment, I detailed my medications, including the high number of laxatives and stool softeners I take, raising concerns about my digestive health. My low blood pressure and anemia were also discussed, leading to necessary iron infusions and further tests scheduled to uncover the root of my issues. The emotional support from Dr. Gerhart was invaluable; his willingness to believe in my experience reassured me. I realized the importance of finding a healthcare provider who listens and takes the time to explore complex symptoms rather than dismissing them. As I prepare for a series of tests, including the Sitz Marker test – an old but accurate method – I remain hopeful. Understanding my diagnosis is crucial, and I am determined to advocate for my health. Stay tuned for more updates as my investigation unfolds. Remember, every patient's voice matters, and we must continue to share our stories to raise awareness and support for those battling similar challenges.

Selena Gomez Chronically Ill?! Breaks My Heart✨
It honestly hurts me to see fans body shaming Selena Gomez. One day she’s “too big,” the next day she’s “too small.” Like, can we just stop? It’s frustrating because she’s always been so beautiful and growing up, I looked up to her and even now! Seeing people reduce her to numbers on a scale makes

I don’t really like the idea of opening up this part of my life to the endless void of the internet, but I’ve been following so many accounts in this chronic-illness-niche and haven’t seen much in terms of those who crave the outdoors, but can’t always get there or do what they truly love. Not to s
