My January Reading Goals

My new reading goal is to finish at least 2 books a month. Hopefully I can read more that that this year but who knows how this is gonna go.

Up first is:

Fated to Fall by A.K. Caggiano

The Baby Dragon Cafe by A.T. Qureshi

And

The Atlas Six by Olivie Blake

I know pretty much nothing about these books so I’m going big blind. Let me know what books you’ll be reading in 2026!

... Read moreSetting reading goals at the start of a year can be both exciting and motivating, and aiming to finish at least two books a month is a practical target that helps build consistent reading habits. Let's delve a bit deeper into the books mentioned: "Fated to Fall" by A.K. Caggiano, published by Dreamscape, suggests an immersive story that might blend elements of fate and romance, inviting readers who appreciate emotionally charged narratives. "The Baby Dragon Cafe" by A.T. Qureshi hints at a cozy, welcoming environment with a romantic undertone, perfect for readers who enjoy warmth and charm combined with romance—definitely a light and engaging read for those who like stories with heartfelt connections and inviting settings. "The Atlas Six" by Olivie Blake is known for its gripping knowledge-driven plot, where themes of power and mystery intersect. The phrase "Knowledge is carnage" captures the book’s intense and thought-provoking nature, attracting fans of dark academia and complex character dynamics. Taking on these books "big blind" can be an adventurous way to discover new genres and authors outside your usual preferences, broadening reading horizons. For a year-long reading goal, mixing genres like romance, mystery, and fantasy ensures variety, which keeps reading engaging. To successfully achieve your goal of two books per month, consider allocating daily dedicated reading time, joining book clubs such as #lemon8bookclub, or tracking your progress via #readinggoals communities to stay motivated. Moreover, sharing your reading journey, like discussing your January picks, invites recommendations and connections with fellow readers, enriching the experience. What are your strategies for sticking to your reading goals this year? Have you discovered any unexpected favorites by going in "blind" like this? Feel free to share and swap book recommendations as we dive into 2026 together. Happy reading and best of luck with all your literary adventures!
