One tip I found useful was warming up the peanut or almond butter slightly before spreading; this makes it easier to create an even layer and adds creaminess to every bite. I used crunchy peanut butter for extra texture, but smooth works just as well. For the strawberry element, using thinly sliced fresh strawberries adds a fresh tang that contrasts beautifully with the sweetness of the dates and richness of the peanut butter. Freeze-dried strawberries can be an alternative if fresh ones aren’t available, but make sure they’re dry to avoid sogginess. Melting high-percentage dark chocolate to top the bark balances the sweetness and brings antioxidants too. Sprinkling flaky sea salt at the end enhances all the flavors, making each bite a memorable experience.
