Easy High Protein Meal

Pressed for time but don’t want to eat fast food?

Definitely give this chicken gyro a try:

Ingredients:

• 1 lb boneless, skinless chicken breasts, thinly sliced

• 2 tbsp olive oil

• 2 cloves garlic, minced

• 1 tsp each dried oregano, thyme, paprika

• 1/2 tsp cumin

• Salt and pepper

• Whole wheat pita bread or wraps

• Tzatziki sauce

• Sliced tomatoes, cucumbers, red onion

• Lemon wedges

Tzatziki Recipe:

• 1 cup Greek yogurt (low-fat or non-fat)

• 1 cucumber, grated and squeezed to remove excess moisture

• 2 cloves garlic, minced

• 1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice

• 1 tablespoon chopped fresh dill (or 1 teaspoon dried dill)

• Salt and pepper to taste

Time to Cook:

1. Marinate chicken in olive oil, garlic, spices.

2. Grill chicken until cooked through.

3. Warm pita bread/wraps.

4. Spread tzatziki on bread, add chicken, veggies.

5. Roll up and serve with lemon wedges.
