High Protein 7-Day Meal Plan with Grocery List

Hi girls and gals! Here is another high protein meal plan to fuel your week. 🥙

A note to make is everyone has a different fitness goal and that includes protein intake. Personally I follow 0.8-1 gram of protein per pound of body weight based on my fitness goals. You should adjust yours based on your progress overall diet and personal preferences.

I hope you all have been successful at being consistent with your fitness goal this year! 💪🏼 I know you can do it! And I hope these meal plans help take off some pressure about meal prepping. I know starting any fitness goals can be overwhelming with the idea of what workouts, how many reps, what splits, what kind of food, meal ideas, protein intake etc. But I try to make it easy for you with these meal ideas!

If you have other things you’d like me to incorporate or post that could make your journey easier let me know! I’m not perfect and I’m figuring it out with you all as well 🥰

When you have your meals laid out for the week, it's so much easier to stay on track. I personally love to print out my weekly meal planner grid and stick it on my fridge. This way, I can easily see what's for breakfast (maybe some delicious fried eggs with sesame seeds and avocado toast like in the picture!), lunch, and dinner, and even plan my snacks. It removes the guesswork and makes healthy eating a no-brainer. Now, let's talk about the high protein grocery list – this is where the magic truly happens! I've categorized everything to make your grocery haul super efficient. When I head to the store, I always go through my protein grocery items first: chicken breast, lean ground turkey, eggs, Greek yogurt, or protein powder. Then, I hit up the produce section for fresh vegetables & fruits like spinach, berries, and those perfect avocado slices and arugula that add so much flavor and nutrients. Don't forget your grains & carb alternatives like whole-wheat bread for that yummy toast or quinoa. Crafting a basic grocery list around your protein needs ensures you're always stocked for healthy meals. For those of you looking to make meal prep even smoother, here are a few extra tips I've picked up. First, dedicate a couple of hours on a Sunday to batch cook some of your proteins, like chicken or ground meat. You can also chop up veggies for salads and snacks. This makes assembling meals during the week a breeze. Think about meals that use similar ingredients, like a stir-fry that can be repurposed into a salad the next day. This saves time and reduces waste. Another key is flexibility. While this is a *7 day healthy meal plan*, feel free to swap out ingredients based on your preferences or what's on sale. If you're not a fan of *pickled red onions*, simply skip them or substitute with another favorite topping. The goal is to make healthy eating enjoyable and sustainable. Remember, everyone's protein needs vary, so adjust portion sizes to fit your personal fitness goals. My aim is to provide you with a solid foundation, and you can tweak it to perfectly suit your body and lifestyle.
