Today, let's find out why our brains still order to "buy" when we know that the chances are low.
There is a theory to support..
🧠 1. The power of the "almost cheap" (Near Miss Effect):
This theory says that when we buy a number and go one point, the brain will secrete Dopamine like when we actually "win"! It gives us the false hope that "the next draw" is actually 100% random.
🎰 2. Random reward system (Variable Ratio Reinforcement):
Like a slot cabinet, the brain is more addicted to "unpredictable" rewards than certain rewards (like salaries). Two small rubbings last year were "hooks" with the brain to try.
But slow down. I'm gonna run out.
We need to pull together a little bit that we owe a lot, hopefully, but it should fit.
Must not encroach on "debt money."
Set up a rule for yourself that the lottery fee must not exceed 0.5% of the income to maintain (very high hopes, 6-12 million per period 😆) enough to have a fight and not destroy this salary man's 10-year debt release plan!

หลายคนคงเคยเจอความรู้สึกตรงกับที่บทความบอก คือทุกวันที่ 1 และ 16 วันหวยออก ใจมันสั่น ปากบอกอยากอดออม แต่สมองกลับดันอยากลองเสี่ยงโชคต่อ หลายครั้งที่รู้อยู่เต็มอกว่าโอกาสถูกมีน้อยมาก แต่เหตุใดจึงยังซื้อ? จากประสบการณ์ส่วนตัวที่เคยซื้อหวยและผ่านความรู้สึกผิดหวังมาไม่น้อย ทำให้เห็นว่าการซื้อหวยนั้นไม่ได้เป็นแค่เรื่องโชคลาภอย่างเดียว แต่มันเกี่ยวพันกับวิธีที่สมองตอบสนองต่อรางวัลและความหวังเสียมากกว่า ข้อแรกคือ Near Miss Effect หรือพลังของ "เกือบถูก" นั่นเอง เมื่อเลขที่ซื้อเฉียดแค่แต้มเดียว สมองจะปล่อยสารโดปามีนซึ่งทำให้รู้สึกเหมือนชนะจริงๆ สร้างความหวังว่าจะถูกรางวัลในครั้งถัดไป ทั้งที่ความจริงผลลัพธ์แต่ละงวดเป็นการสุ่มแบบอิสระ ข้อสองคือ Variable Ratio Reinforcement คือระบบให้รางวัลแบบสุ่ม ที่เล่นกับความไม่แน่นอน เช่นเดียวกับตู้สล็อต สมองเราถูกดึงดูดด้วยการได้รางวัลไม่แน่นอนมากกว่ารางวัลที่แน่นอน เช่น เงินเดือน หรือรายได้ประจำ การถูกรางวัลเล็กๆ สองสามครั้งในอดีต ก็จะกลายเป็นเบ็ดที่เกี่ยวใจ ให้ยังอยากเสี่ยงและลุ้นต่อไป ดังนั้น การรู้เทคนิคและพฤติกรรมของสมองนี้ช่วยให้เราจัดการความคาดหวังได้ดีขึ้น และรู้ว่าควรจะควบคุมการซื้อในปริมาณที่ไม่ทำลายแผนการเงินของเรา เช่น เจ้าของบทความแนะนำให้ซื้อหวยไม่เกิน 0.5% ของรายได้ เพื่อรักษาสมดุลการเงินและไม่กระทบต่อเงินโปะหนี้ จากประสบการณ์ ผมเองก็เคยผ่านช่วงเวลาที่เสพติดการซื้อหวยโดยไม่คิดหน้าคิดหลัง จนเกิดความเครียดเรื่องเงินและหนี้สิน สุดท้ายได้เรียนรู้ว่าถ้าเราเอาการเสี่ยงโชคมาเป็นเรื่องที่สร้างความสุขและความหวังในปริมาณที่พอดี ไม่ให้เกินกำลังทางการเงิน มันจะกลายเป็นกิจกรรมบันเทิงที่ไม่ทำร้ายชีวิต สรุปว่า เราซื้อลอตเตอรี่เพราะสมองตอบสนองต่อความหวังจาก "เกือบถูก" และระบบรางวัลแบบสุ่มที่ทำให้เสพติดความลุ้น แต่หากบริหารจัดการให้ดี และตั้งกฎกับตัวเอง จะช่วยให้ความฝันและการวางแผนทางการเงินไปด้วยกันได้อย่างสมดุล
