Heavy Bones, Moving Heart
Some days,
strength isn’t loud.
It doesn’t roar,
or climb mountains,
or smile through the pain.
Sometimes,
strength is simply
putting your feet on the floor
when every bone
begs you to stay.
The world
only notices the finish line.
It never sees
the thousand quiet victories
hidden in the spaces between—
the tears you wiped away,
the breath you forced yourself to take,
the mornings you survived
without applause.
You are allowed
to be tired.
You are allowed
to carry a heart
that feels heavier
than yesterday.
But don’t mistake
your exhaustion
for the end of your story.
Even stars
fade with the dawn,
only to return
when the sky is ready.
So rest
when you can.
Cry
when you need.
Laugh
when it finds you.
And when your legs
remember how to move,
take one more step.
Not because
you owe the world
another miracle—
but because somewhere
inside your tired heart,
a quiet voice
still whispers,
“We’re not done yet.”
