Dear women in your 20s: don’t let anyone convince you that turning 30 means your best years are behind you.
Your body doesn’t automatically fall apart with age. It responds to how you treat it. Strength, confidence, energy, and fitness can all improve as you get older when you consistently invest in yourself.
I’m 35, and I feel stronger than I did in my 20s. Age isn’t the excuse people think it is—our habits matter far more.
How old are you, and do you feel better now than you did five years ago? 👇🏽
As someone who has navigated the transition from my 20s into my 30s, I can attest to the truth that age is truly just a number when it comes to health and vitality. Many women feel pressured by societal expectations that their peak is behind them once they cross the threshold of 30, but my personal experience has been the opposite. I have found that making small but consistent investments in my physical and mental well-being has transformed the way I feel each day. For example, prioritizing strength training over just cardio has helped me gain muscle tone, increase my metabolism, and improve my confidence. Paying attention to sleep quality and nutrition has also played a huge role. It’s not about drastic measures but about nurturing your body with habits that build resilience. This mindset shift—from thinking "I’m too old" to "I’m growing stronger"—has made a tremendous difference. I encourage women in their 20s and beyond to celebrate every stage of life and to trust that the habits they cultivate today will define how vibrant and energized they feel tomorrow. Your 30s can be a period of empowerment where your body responds positively because you treat it with care and respect. Embrace the process, be patient with yourself, and remember: strength and confidence are cultivated, not bound by age.
