What I read in January

In January, I embraced my reading goals with enthusiasm, aiming to read over 100 books this year. By the end of the month, I tackled 16 books, which included both new releases and cherished favorites. Balancing a physical TBR pile was a significant focus; I managed to reduce mine from 148 to 134 books! This progress reflects my commitment to curating my reading list and prioritizing what truly interests me. I also set a non-purchase rule for books unless I successfully read 10 from my physical stack. Though I added 3 new titles—thanks to pre-orders—a creative approach to my book-buying habits is emerging. Another goal was to limit phone screen time and free up more hours for reading. While it’s an ongoing challenge, I’m learning to manage distractions and stay motivated. The titles I read in January were varied, featuring genres that fuel my passion for literature.
