I’m posting most of my favorite plays in overwatch
Hey everyone! If you're anything like me, you live for those "Play of the Game" moments in Overwatch, especially when you're rocking Genji. There's just something incredibly satisfying about diving into the enemy backline, unleashing Dragonblade, and seeing that "5 PLAYER KILL STREAK!" pop up on your screen. It’s what makes playing Genji so addictive! I've been honing my Genji skills for ages, and while I might not be a "QU1CKS1LVER" level pro, I've definitely learned a thing or two about making those highlight reels. What truly inspires me, and probably many of you, are the legendary "Seoul Dynasty Genji" players. Their aggressive yet precise style, their ability to find those impossible angles, and their perfect Dragonblade timings are just goals! They show us how a single Genji can completely turn the tide of a match. So, how do you get those epic plays? It starts with understanding Genji's kit inside and out. Your Shurikens are great for poking and finishing off low-health targets, but the real magic happens with Swift Strike (Dash) and Deflect. Master your dash resets – getting a final blow with Swift Strike instantly refreshes its cooldown. This is crucial for chaining kills and escaping sticky situations. Imagine dashing through an enemy, getting the kill, and immediately dashing to another or back to safety. That's how you survive those big engagements! Deflect is your best friend against projectile heroes and even some ultimates. Learning when to use it is key. Don't just hold it down; anticipate enemy fire. Reflecting a Pharah rocket back at her, or even a McCree High Noon, feels absolutely incredible and can single-handedly "STOP THE PAYLOAD" or save your team. Now, let's talk about Dragonblade, Genji's ultimate. This is where most of those "PLAY OF THE GAME" moments come from. Timing is everything. You want to activate it when the enemy team is grouped, vulnerable, or when you have support from your healers. Don't go in alone against a full team with all their cooldowns. A good Dragonblade combo often involves a dash into the enemy, activating ult, slashing, and then using dash resets to move between targets. The goal is to get those quick slashes and dashes to secure kills and keep the momentum going. That's how you rack up a "5 PLAYER KILL STREAK!" and really make an impact. One of my favorite feelings is when I manage to "STOP THE PAYLOAD" solo as Genji. It usually involves a well-timed flank, getting a pick or two, and then popping Dragonblade to clear the objective. It takes courage and good game sense, but when it works, it's pure gold. Practicing your aim, movement, and timing in custom games or Quick Play can really pay off. Watch pro players, especially those "Seoul Dynasty Genji" highlights, and try to understand their decision-making. Don't be afraid to experiment with different approaches. Every match is a chance to improve and, who knows, maybe get your own legendary "PLAY OF THE GAME" with a "5 PLAYER KILL STREAK!" Keep grinding, fellow Genji mains!
