Cause Problem, Now In A Can!

Los Angeles

... Read moreIt's funny how sometimes, just living your best life can feel like you're constantly trying to "CAUSE PROBLEN" (as my latest meme-worthy moment suggests!). You know those days when you're just trying to enjoy "just girly things" and suddenly, a tiny hiccup throws off your whole vibe? Yeah, I get it. Especially here in Los Angeles, where there's always something new to discover, but also always a new 'popular problem' to navigate. Take vintage shopping, for instance, which is one of my absolute favorite things to do here in LA. You'd think it's all glamorous finds and unique pieces, right? And mostly it is! But honestly, sometimes it feels like a scavenger hunt with booby traps. What causes me the most trouble? Definitely finding the perfect fit. Vintage sizing can be a total mystery, and it’s a common 'problem' I hear from other girls too. You spot this gorgeous 60s dress, it’s exactly your style, but then you try it on and it's either huge or tiny. So frustrating! Another 'popular problem' is the hunt itself. Sometimes I spend hours sifting through racks, and it feels like I'm not finding anything that speaks to me. It's a real test of patience, but the thrill of the eventual find makes it worth it. Then there are the everyday 'girly things' that, let's be real, can also "CAUSE PROBLEN" in the most unexpected ways. Deciding on the perfect outfit for a casual brunch in Silver Lake, or finding a parking spot in WeHo on a Saturday night – these might seem like small things, but they can genuinely throw a wrench in your plans if you let them. It’s not exactly a 'social cause' in the grand scheme of things, but in our day-to-day lives, these little annoyances add up. I’ve learned to embrace the chaos a bit, finding humor in the minor fashion faux pas or the unexpected detour. It’s all part of the Los Angeles charm, and sometimes, those little 'problems' lead to the best stories. And let’s not forget the sheer volume of choices! Whether it's picking a new coffee spot, deciding which farmer's market to hit, or just trying to choose a new nail color, the options in LA are endless. While it's amazing, it can also cause a bit of decision fatigue. My personal strategy for dealing with this 'popular problem'? I often turn it into an adventure. Instead of stressing, I pick something at random or ask a friend for a recommendation. It's a great way to discover new places and avoid falling into the same old routines. Ultimately, whether we're talking about a quirky vintage find that needs a bit of tailoring or just the daily dilemmas of living in a bustling city like Los Angeles, learning to navigate these "CAUSE PROBLEN" moments is all part of the fun. It’s about finding joy in the little things and sharing those experiences, because often, what might seem like a 'problem' on your own, turns out to be a super relatable experience for other girls too! It’s all just part of the journey of being ourselves and embracing our unique 'girly things' vibe.

Carbs aren’t the problem — the type of carbs and what you eat them with matters. Your body needs carbohydrates for energy, hormone balance, thyroid function, brain health, and gut health. Cutting them too low can lead to cravings, fatigue, poor workouts, and feeling out of control around food.
