Long jail until afraid of fasting GTA 6 games ðĻ
It became viral online after British police published footage from a chest camera while arresting a man accused of the murder of his girlfriend. What generated heavy criticism was not only the severity of the case, but the words of the accused who expressed concern about missing out on a giant game like Grand Theft Auto VI in prison.
.
The accused, Robert Richens, 35, was arrested by Thames Valley Police officers on 30 May 2025 on suspicion of murdering Rachael Vaughan, a 40-year-old former lover, inside a residence in Abingdon, Oxfordshire, before Oxford Crown Court handed down a sentence on 6 February 2026 to life imprisonment, with a minimum sentence of 16 years and 1 month.
.
A video clip that was released as evidence in court recorded the aftermath of the arrest, where Richens sobbed and said to the police that he would not be playing GTA 6. When the authorities asked what part of the game was, he immediately replied, "Region 6," acknowledging that he knew he was in prison for life, even though the police responded that the game was longer than released.
.
However, behind the emotional clip is a brutal crime case. An investigation report indicates that Richens called an emergency in the early hours of the morning, claiming to have "accidentally" killed his girlfriend. But the investigation showed that the victim had been severely and continuously assaulted, and he did not try to call medical assistance to the deceased until there was no escape, so he called the police.
.
On the head of the investigative series, Stuart May stated, Richens' behavior and words clearly reflect cold-blooded and ruthless, with no signs of remorse for the victim, while Grand Theft Auto VI is scheduled for release on November 19, 2026, meaning he will certainly be disqualified from touching the game.
