DAY 3: House Problems No One Talks About ✨ Hole in the Wall

5 days to complete 5 things around my house that I’ve been putting off that are driving me absolutely insane. I’ve been dreading these things for months, so we’re gonna time how long it actually takes me to finish each one.

Here’s the easiest way to repair a hole in your drywall! When I first saw this no spackling required patch and I was skeptical. I thought there was no way and boy was I wrong!! It’s SOOO easy!! Come back tomorrow for DAY 4: Cracked Grout in my Shower

⬇️ Comment PATCH and I’ll send you the link!!

... Read moreFrom my personal experience, repairing a hole in drywall can often feel daunting, especially when the idea of messy spackling and sanding comes to mind. However, I recently found an incredibly simple and effective method that requires no spackling at all — a peel-and-stick drywall patch that transforms ugly holes into smooth, paint-ready walls quickly. The process is remarkably straightforward. First, clean the area around the hole to ensure good adhesion. Then, apply the patch directly over the hole; its sturdy mesh backing provides stability and support for the drywall surface. The best part is after a single coat of paint, you can actually pull off the protective tab that covers the patch, leaving behind a smooth, professional finish that is almost invisible. Applying one or two more coats of paint will blend the patch perfectly with the rest of your wall. What made this method even more appealing was how fast it was. I timed myself, and repairing a fairly large hole took less than an hour from start to finish. This efficiency means homeowners can address multiple nagging repairs over a few days without feeling overwhelmed. Another benefit is the clean, no-mess experience. No dust, no sanding — just peel, stick, and paint. For anyone who’s put off drywall repairs due to the hassle or uncertain skill set, this approach is an absolute game-changer. I also appreciated how durable the patch felt after drying, which gives added confidence the repair will last. If you’re tackling similar house problems like cracks or grout issues, I suggest approaching them one day at a time, setting manageable goals. This keeps motivation high and ensures you don’t get stuck procrastinating on small but essential home maintenance tasks. In summary, using a no-spackling peel-and-stick drywall patch is hands down the easiest way I’ve ever repaired holes in my walls. It’s perfect for renters, DIY beginners, or anyone looking for a fast, reliable fix. Just peel off the backing, stick it on, paint, and watch the damage disappear.

The first slide introduces the topic: 'Why your house keeps getting messy,' with a number '1' in a circle and a small heart icon, against a light background with plant shadows.
The second slide states, 'You're trying to clean and tidy at the same time. Those are two different jobs,' with a number '2' in a circle and a woven basket with a blanket at the bottom.
The third slide outlines 'Step 1: Put things away,' listing 'Laundry, Toys, Random cups, Mail' with checkmarks. A teddy bear and a cup are visible in a basket.
Why your house always feels messy
If you’ve ever spent an hour “cleaning” and somehow the room still looks messy, you’re not doing anything wrong. Most of us are trying to tidy and clean at the same time. First put things away. Then clean the surfaces that are left. It’s a tiny shift, but it makes a huge difference.
