LA finally has a subway worth taking 👀🚇
This opened ahead of the World Cup and Olympics!
Having recently taken the new D Line myself, I can honestly say it’s transformed my city travel experience. There’s something so refreshing about leaving your car behind and gliding seamlessly through LA without worrying about parking or getting caught in traffic jams. The D Line connects crucial parts of the city, including LACMA and Downtown LA, making it easier to enjoy cultural events, delicious food, and vibrant city life. One of my favorite moments was hopping off near the Smidt Welcome Plaza, then heading to enjoy some free jazz at LACMA—something that felt impossible before the subway opened. The convenience and comfort have definitely made exploring LA more enjoyable and less stressful. Plus, with events like the World Cup and upcoming Olympics, public transit improvements like the D Line are game-changers for both locals and visitors. If you enjoy city life and want to discover LA’s hidden gems without the usual hassles, give the D Line a try. It’s a small change with a big impact on how you experience Los Angeles.
