Habits Every Student Needs!!

If you want to be the best student that you can be, then it all starts with creating good habits! By creating habits you can make sure that you stay on track easily and efficiently!

Personally, the habit that makes the most positive impact is reviewing the textbook and lecture slides BEFORE the lecture! This allows me to get ahead of the work and actually ask meaningful questions during lecture!

... Read moreTo become the best student possible, it’s essential to build good habits. One key habit is to review lecture notes immediately after class for 20 minutes; this reinforces learning and reduces cramming later on. Incorporating a habit of reading relevant textbook sections before lectures prepares you to engage deeply with the material. This proactive learning approach allows you to ask more insightful questions during class. Additionally, managing your stress is crucial; remember, new topics can be challenging, but with the right mindset, they become manageable. It’s beneficial to give your brain time to wind down by stopping your study sessions at least an hour before bed and opting for relaxing activities like reading or light entertainment instead. Together, these strategies can significantly improve your academic performance and study efficiency!
