WHY YOU SHOULD WORK IN ✨Property Management✨

1. $$$ 💸

I know the biggest question you probably have is “How much will I make working in property management?” Between rent discounts if you live onsite, your hourly wage and commission, property management can be a VERY well paying field. In leasing, I get decent commission on top of my hourly wage and rent discounts. Depending on your companies bonus structure, you have the potential to gain commission/bonuses for your move ins AND renewals!

2. No college required! ❌

Although some companies might require a degree, most only look for administrative or customer service experience! A lot of companies will even hire with just food and bev experience, if you present yourself well and really push the customer service aspect of serving/bartending. Some companies will even pay for you to get certifications, and even your property management license!

3. Plenty of room to move up! ⬆️

Depending on your company, a lot of management companies will push you to succeed and chase certifications and your property management license to help you move up and grow your resume. Some will even pay for this continuing education! Finding a good management company to work for is the key to succeeding in the property management world, and actually enjoying your job! This can very well be your forever career, if you work hard and push yourself to chase these certifications and licensing.

Lastly, it can be a VERY FUN JOB! 🎉

I loveeeeeeee my job as a leasing consultant. I find tours fun, and find it interesting to meet new people. Seeing the process from start to finish (from the tour, to the application, to the move in,) is very fulfilling! I love helping people with finding their new home! Tours, running social media accounts, attending networking events, getting to dress up everyday and setting up move in bags/modeling units are just a few things that I find very fun and help me genuinely love my job ❤️

If you needed a sign to make a career change, this is it!!! 👩🏻‍💼💸🏠

... Read moreProperty management is an exciting field that offers numerous benefits and opportunities for growth. The financial aspects are particularly attractive, with many professionals enjoying a well-paying career thanks to hourly wages, commissions, and even rent discounts for onsite managers. In addition, the industry often values experience over formal education, meaning you might enter the field with just a customer service background. Companies frequently offer training and cover the costs of certifications and licenses to help you advance. Beyond financial incentives and accessibility, property management provides a dynamic work environment. Professionals get to engage with clients and assist them in their journey to find a new home. Enjoying various roles, such as conducting property tours, managing social media accounts, and attending networking events, can make the job fulfilling and fun. Additionally, many companies encourage staff to pursue further education and certifications, opening doors for career advancement and specialization within the industry. Overall, a career in property management not only promises financial rewards but also personal satisfaction and growth.
