3 ingredient appetizer 🧀🌸
These flower tart brie bites are stuffed with creamy brie and a spoonful of your favorite jam for the perfect sweet and savory bite. They look beautiful as an appetizer, for brunch or even dessert but are secretly so simple to make! 🌸
What you’ll need:
🧀 2 sheets of pie crust (I used @Pillsbury)
🧀 4-5 oz of brie cheese (cut into small squares)
🧀 1/2 cup lemon curd or jam of choice
🧀 1 beaten egg (egg wash)
🧀 icing sugar - optional dusting
Heat oven to 375 F and lightly grease a mini muffin tin. Roll out your pie crust and cut into flower shapes using a cookie cutter. Lightly press the pie crust flowers in the muffin tin. Add in brie and some jam into each. Brush egg wash on the flower petals and then bake for 12-15 minutes until golden brown. Serve as is or dust with icing sugar for an elevated bakery level look!

If you're looking for a charming appetizer that combines elegant presentation with simple ingredients, these flower tart brie bites are an absolute winner. What I love most about this recipe is its versatility—you can easily swap out the jam or lemon curd to suit your taste or the season. For example, raspberry jam adds a fresh tartness that pairs beautifully with the rich creaminess of brie, while an apricot jam provides a subtle sweetness. From my experience, using a mini muffin tin to shape the tarts not only helps them hold their lovely flower form but also makes serving effortless during parties. I also like to light dust some icing sugar on top after baking for that bakery-style finish and an extra touch of sweetness. If you want an additional burst of flavor, sprinkling some chopped fresh herbs like thyme or rosemary before baking can make these bites even more gourmet. One tip that really elevated my batches was to use brie cheese with the rind on; it melts down nicely and adds complexity to the flavor profile. Just make sure to cut the brie into small enough squares so it melts evenly inside the tart shells. Baking at 375°F for about 12-15 minutes results in perfectly golden pastry petals and warm, gooey cheese inside. These flower tart brie bites are fabulous for spring gatherings, afternoon teas, or as a quick yet impressive appetizer for dinner parties. They cater well to those who appreciate sweet-savory combos without too much fuss in the kitchen. From my home kitchen to yours, these are small bites packed with big flavor and guaranteed to impress your guests!
