There comes a point where I've done everything I know how to do.

I've made the calls.

I've gone to the appointments.

I've worried.

I've cried.

I've tried to figure it all out.

And then I remember:

Some things are bigger than me.

That's when I pray.

That's when I rest.

That's when I trust God with what I cannot carry alone.

I don't have to have all the answers today.

I just need enough faith for the next step.

From my experience, the most powerful tool I’ve found alongside medical treatments is faith — specifically, praying over situations when I can’t fix them myself. There comes a moment after countless calls, appointments, and tears when you realize some burdens are just too heavy to carry alone. Backed by scripture like Psalm 46:10, which encourages being still and trusting God, I’ve found peace in allowing myself to rest without guilt. Resting is not weakness; it’s an essential step to preserving both mental and physical strength during hard seasons. Praying doesn’t mean I have all the answers. Instead, it provides me with just enough faith and hope to take the next small step forward, even on days when I feel overwhelmed. God’s timing and love are constant, reminding me that healing is not always immediate nor linear, but trust in His plan can sustain us when we feel powerless. Jeremiah 29:11 inspires me to remember He has plans to prosper me, even in difficult times. It’s a daily choice to pray, trust, and rest — a rhythm that reinforces resilience and offers a sense of control amid uncertainty. If you’re on a similar journey, I encourage you to hold onto your faith tightly. Keep going one small step at a time, lean into moments of prayer, and allow yourself necessary rest. Remember, you don’t need perfect answers today — just enough faith to move forward. This practice has been a lifeline through my chronic illness and hard seasons, turning moments of fear and frustration into opportunities for healing and grace.
